TESTA CEO Kyle Wiltshire was among the first five guests featured on Dmitry Belianin’s 15-Minute Mastery podcast. The podast is scheduled to host 50 guests from the iGaming world in its first year.
Kyle highlighted the importance of a comprehensive, market-specific approach to quality assurance; from understanding the impact of device compatibility and latency on UX to ensuring seamless payment processing and proper localization.
He emphasized that by embracing these strategies, you can position your gaming business for growth, stay ahead of the competition, and deliver an exceptional experience to your customers, no matter where they are located.
Kyle also elaborated on the often less-than-ideal reality of iGaming QA. He offered the high-level view on it, explaining that there are inherent biases and blind spots within the testing process—and that these issues can significantly impact the overall effectiveness of QA efforts, making it a topic worth exploring in depth.
…when you have your own team doing any sort of QA or validating what you built, they’re coming at it with certain biases and they’re also probably physically in one location. So you’ve got a QA lab that’s in one place and maybe they have, you know, a couple iPhones or Android devices but they’re not really looking at it through all of the other layers that separate you from the real customers.
